Job summary

Ideals Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Supervisor for their Woodlands facility. This full-time role involves managing daily production activities, coordinating manpower, and ensuring production targets are met.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities and ensure production targets are met.
• Coordinate manpower, machines and materials to meet shipment schedules.
• Work closely with Planners, Stores and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor production processes and identify potential issues.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain 5S standards.
• Perform production and inventory checks.
• Ensure daily production records and documents are completed.
• Guide and train team members on production processes.
• Conduct performance appraisals for team members and new hires.
• Prepare and submit shift-related administrative paperwork.
• Assist the Manager with daily output meetings.

Job description

Location: Woodlands - 3bus stop away from MRT
Working Hours: 12-Hour Shift / 7.30 - 7.30 (AM or PM)
Salary: Up to $4,500/month
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities and ensure production targets are met.

• Coordinate manpower, machines and materials to meet shipment schedules.

• Work closely with Planners, Stores and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production.

• Monitor production processes and identify potential issues, taking proactive action to prevent recurrence.

• Ensure proper housekeeping and maintain 5S standards.

• Perform production and inventory checks, including AMR, MRF and FGT.

• Ensure daily production records and documents are completed and updated.

• Guide and train team members on production processes and equipment.

• Conduct performance appraisals for team members and new hires.

• Prepare and submit shift-related administrative paperwork.

• Assist the Manager with daily output meetings when required.

• Maintain documents such as training forms, overtime forms, work schedules, production records and equipment reports.

Requirements

• Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, Production or related field.

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

• Experience managing a team in a 12-hour shift environment is an advantage.

• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
