Job summary

You will drive Lean initiatives, manage priorities and manpower, and coach the team to improve safety and performance. This shop-floor role involves rotating shifts at the West Singapore site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production or related field.
• 5–7 years in production/manufacturing.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• SAP experience is an advantage.
• Shop-floor based role with exposure to noise and heavy equipment.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities within the manufacturing workshop.
• Manage work order priorities, manpower scheduling and production targets.
• Ensure Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery (SQCD) objectives are achieved.
• Train, coach and motivate team members to improve skills and performance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with maintenance and internal teams to improve equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Support risk management, incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Monitor team performance, attendance and work progress.
