Job summary

Cognex Singapore Mfg. PTE. LTD. is seeking skilled operators to execute production tasks, run manufacturing equipment, and ensure product quality to meet output targets.

You will perform complex assemblies and testing of electronic/mechanical components, monitor automated test equipment, and document results while collaborating with engineers to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Nitec in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably high-tech.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and test systems.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, circuits, and mechanical assembly processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently and manage time to meet production deadlines.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S is a plus.

• Document production activities, test results, and deviations accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve production issues, improve processes, and optimize efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior operators on standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
