Job summary

MENICON SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Production Engineer to turn data into actionable improvements within our manufacturing team.

You will analyse production trends, perform root cause analysis, and present insights to stakeholders to drive operational excellence. This role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement across processes, material flow, and machine utilization, with collaboration across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or a scientific discipline.
• 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel to analyze and present production data.
• Knowledge of 5S, Industrial Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis and Statistical Process Control.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; willingness to work in a clean room.

Responsibilities

• Support production in accomplishing production goals, execute Lean Manufacturing and improve product quality.
• Drive improvements for production processes, material flow, labour efficiency and machine utilization.
• Support and facilitate self-inspections to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS, and internal standards.
• Ensure production team complies with the standard work processes, use of templates and 5S practices.
• Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality control to achieve production excellence.
