Cognex Singapore Mfg. PTE. LTD.

is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to execute production tasks, run complex assembly and testing, and monitor equipment to meet output targets. You will perform in-process and final quality checks and document results, collaborating with engineers and supervisors to resolve issues and drive efficiency. The role requires a Diploma/Nitec in Electronics or related technical discipline and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

Diploma or Nitec in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline.
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment and test systems.
Ability to read drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform complex assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical components and systems according to procedures and specs.
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment including ATE for optimal performance and output.
Conduct in-process and final quality checks, identify defects, and initiate corrective actions.
Document production activities, test results, and deviations accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve production issues and improve processes.
Train and mentor junior operators on SOPs and best practices.
Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
