Job summary

Menicon Singapore, part of Menicon Co. Ltd, is seeking a Production Engineer to turn data into actionable improvements on the shop floor in Singapore.

You will analyze production trends, perform root cause analysis, and present insights that persuade stakeholders to adopt the right solutions, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

We value hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and adherence to cGMP, ISO, and internal standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Science is required.
• At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Support production to achieve goals and improve quality using Lean methods.
• Drive process improvements for material flow, labour efficiency and machine use.
• Support self-inspections and ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS and internal standards.
• Ensure adherence to standard work, templates and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, manufacturing and quality to achieve production excellence.

• Support production in accomplishing production goals, execute Lean Manufacturing and improve product quality.
• Drive improvements for production processes, material flow, labour efficiency and machine utilization.
• Support and facilitate self-inspections to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS, and internal standards.
• Ensure production team complies with the standard work processes, use of templates and 5S practices.
• Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality control to achieve production excellence.

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline
• 3 years' relevant working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Excel to analyze and present production data.
