Job summary

Menicon Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Engineer to turn production data into actionable improvements and drive operational excellence. You will analyse production trends, perform root cause analysis, and present insights to stakeholders to implement effective solutions.

The role requires a Diploma in Engineering or Science with 3 years of manufacturing experience, proficiency in Excel, and a willingness to work in a clean room environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant Engineering or Scientific discipline.
• 3 years' relevant working experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Excel for data analysis and presentation.
• Knowledge of 5S, IE, Lean, RCA and SPC.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work in a clean room environment.

Responsibilities

• Support production in achieving production goals and apply Lean Manufacturing to improve quality.
• Drive improvements in production processes, material flow, labour efficiency and machine utilization.
• Support and facilitate self-inspections to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS and internal standards.
• Ensure the production team follows standard work processes, templates and 5S practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality) to achieve production excellence.

• Support production in accomplishing production goals, execute Lean Manufacturing and improve product quality.

• Support and facilitate self-inspections to ensure compliance with cGMP, ISO, QMS, and internal standards.

• Ensure production team complies with the standard work processes, use of templates and 5S practices.

• Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality control to achieve production excellence.
