Job summary

Recruit Express Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Planning Executive for a Senoko-based role in cable manufacturing. You will keep orders, materials, and production lines moving, coordinating planners and operations across teams.

Entry-level candidates with an engineering background are welcome, with a 5-day week and alternating Saturday half-days to support 7-day production. Salary ranges are SGD 3,200–4,000 with a yearly bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline.
• 0-3 years' experience; production planning, supply chain or production coordination in manufacturing is a plus.
• Good understanding of production planning, material planning and inventory control.
• Experience with production planning systems is an advantage.
• Comfortable working Saturday half-days as required by operations.
• Organised and proactive, with good coordination across Sales, Production and Procurement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production plans and adjust schedules based on customer orders, inventory and line capacity.
• Plan raw and auxiliary materials; raise and follow up on purchase requests; help source qualified suppliers.
• Monitor material usage, work-in-progress and finished goods inventory to reduce wastage.
• Coordinate manpower, overtime and shift arrangements; support maintenance planning and capacity reviews.
• Maintain production records and reports on output, material usage and order status.
• Review the shop floor on Saturdays and prepare the following week's plan.

Production Planning Executive | Cable Manufacturing | Senoko | $3,200 - $4,000+

• Location: Senoko Avenue (morning company transport from Admiralty MRT; public buses within walking distance)

• Employment type: Permanent, full-time

• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm, plus Saturday half-days (at least alternate Saturdays) to support 7-day production

• Weekend allowance: $9/hour on Saturdays, $12/hour on Sundays, on top of monthly salary

• Salary: $3,200 - $4,000 per month (higher for candidates with more relevant experience), plus yearly performance bonus

About the role

Our client, an established manufacturer of high, low and extra-low voltage cables, runs production 7 days a week. As Production Planning Executive, you'll sit at the centre of the operation, keeping orders, materials and production lines moving together.
