Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Planning Executive for a leading European MNC in automation and connectivity, based in Singapore. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels, interfacing with customers, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Engineering and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or Business Administration.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in cable harness, electronics manufacturing, automotive, or EMS environment preferred.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP).
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production scheduling and capacity planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for cable harness assembly lines based on customer demand, capacity, and actual results while balancing workloads for maximum efficiency.
• Material & Resource Coordination: Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Engineering teams to manage material availability, resolve shortages, and address production bottlenecks.
• Performance & Inventory Monitoring: Track daily production performance and KPIs (On-Time Delivery, Schedule Achievement, Efficiency) and monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Reporting & System Maintenance: Prepare regular production reports, support ERP/MRP transactions, guide the material handling team, and maintain accurate planning records.

The Production Planning Executive is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and optimal inventory levels. The role works closely with customers, purchasing, warehouse, production, engineering, and quality departments to meet customer requirements while maintaining production efficiency.
