Job summary

Soitec Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Planning Specialist to lead daily and weekly production activities in the semiconductor Fab. You will build schedules based on demand, capacity, WIP, equipment, and delivery needs, and monitor Lot movements to hit targets and on-time delivery.

You will work closely with Operations, Process, Equipment Engineering, Yield Engineering, Quality and Order Management to maintain smooth flow and output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IE, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Over 3 years in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fab, production planning or related field.
• Strong understanding of WIP management, production scheduling, capacity planning and cycle-time management.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Power BI; Gemini is a plus.
• Good presentation, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and on Swing shift.

• Plan and present daily and weekly production activities in the semiconductor Fab.
• Develop production schedules based on demand, capacity, WIP, equipment availability and delivery requirements.
• Monitor Lots daily movement to ensure targets are achieved.
• Coordinate with Operations, Process, Equipment Engineering, Yield Engineering, Quality and Order Management teams.
• Monitor production performance and identify issues affecting output, fulfillment and OTD.
• Adjust production plans according to downtime, constraints, material availability and priorities.
• Analyze production data and provide recommendations to improve throughput, capacity utilization and cycle time.
• Prepare reports and communicate production status, risks and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Participate in CIP related to Fab productivity, WIP control, cycle-time reduction, on-hold lots disposition and production efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Over 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer Fab, production planning, production control, or a related field.
• Candidates with good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and flow are strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of WIP management, production scheduling, capacity planning, and cycle-time management.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Power BI. Knowledge of Gemini is an advantage.
• Good in presentation, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and in Swing shift.
