Job summary

SOITEC-en in Singapore is seeking an experienced Production Planner to oversee daily and weekly Fab activities, building schedules tied to customer demand, capacity, and equipment availability. You will monitor WIP, collaborate with multiple teams, adjust plans for downtime and constraints, and drive improvements in throughput and cycle time, while communicating status and risks to stakeholders.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in relevant engineering and 3+ years in semiconductor

• Strong understanding of WIP management, capacity planning and cycle-time management.
• Proficient in scheduling and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present daily and weekly production activities in the Fab.
• Develop production schedules based on demand, capacity, WIP, equipment availability and delivery requirements.
• Monitor Lots daily movement through steps/layers to ensure targets are achieved.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Process, Equipment Engineering, Yield Engineering, Quality, and Order Management teams.
• Monitor production performance and identify issues affecting output, target fulfillment and OTD.
• Adjust production plans according to downtime, process constraints, material availability and changing priorities.
• Analyze production data and provide recommendations to improve throughput, capacity utilization and cycle time.
• Report preparation and communicate production status, risks and recovery plans to stakeholders.
• Participate in CIP related to Fab productivity and production efficiency.

Requirements & qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IE, Manufacturing Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer Fab, production planning, production control, or a related field.
• Candidates with good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and flow are strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of WIP management, production scheduling, capacity planning, and cycle-time management.
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Power BI. Knowledge of Gemini is an advantage.
• Good in presentation, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and in Swing shift.
