Job summary

ALLIED MFG PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a production planner to coordinate and execute production plans with the Operations Manager. You will update production status to prevent delays and quality issues, and ensure plans align with orders and customer specifications.

You will develop, review, and adjust schedules, monitor execution, and escalate issues when needed, while maintaining detailed production reports and optimizing inventory usage.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or 3 years in metal fabrication planning.
• Responsible for task dateline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Sheet Metal or Machining environment.
• Knowledge in all related machines & tools respectively.
• Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills
• Well-organized and detailed oriented professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime.
• Plan Production Tasks & Schedules according to Orders required.
• Develop and review production plan with Managers for approval.
• Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely manner.
• Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution.
• Investigate & anticipate production problems root causes and provide solutions.
• Report daily production status to Managers.
• Analyze back log, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize and plan accordingly for production operations.
• Coordinate with Managers in planning and implementing engineering changes in production lines.
• Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.
• Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
• Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
• Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.

Maintain a clear production plan & execute accordingly for individual production department. Work closely with Operation Manager to achieve Plan vs actual equivalently. Update Superior of Production Status to avoid delays and quality issue timely.
