Job summary

KLA is seeking a materials/purchasing coordination professional in Singapore to drive efficient material flow across purchasing, production and engineering. You will help minimize variances, track shortages, and ensure BOMs support manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with procurement and engineering to align change orders and allocate capacity to meet build plans in a fast-paced, tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree and related work experience of 2 years.
• Proficient in Excel, Data analysis, ERP system; preferable SAP.
• Detail oriented, process driven, highly collaborative, committed to accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities and work in a fast-paced technical manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering through the production cycle.
• Ensure non-conformances or variances are approved and/ or minimized.
• Track shortages and run shortage meetings with procurement team.
• Identify critical part shortages that will jeopardize ship schedule.
• Maintain bill of materials aligned with assembly process.
• Understand critical path of BOMs and maintain alignment to manufacturing process.
• Understand manufacturing capacity and allocate to meet build plan commitments.
• Identify and resolve problems relating cycle count variances.
• Attend production meetings and Ship rev meetings.
• Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to communicate and implement Engineering Change Orders efficiently.

Job Description

Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering through the production cycle

Responsible for maintaining bill of materials, ensuring bill of material supports efficient material flow and is aligned with assembly process
Understands and maintains critical path of BOMs in area of responsibility and drives engineering to maintain BOM alignment to manufacturing process
Understands manufacturing capacity and allocate as required to meet build plan commitments
Identify and resolve problems relating cycle count variances
Attend production meeting as well as Ship rev meetings etc
Collaborate with key partners (purchasing and engineering) to ensure Engineering Change Orders are communicated and implemented in manufacturing in an efficient and timely way

Minimum Qualifications
