Job summary

KLA is seeking a materials/shipping specialist to support crating, inventory control and shipment processing. You will read drawings, manage parts, resolve shipment issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of related experience, SAP knowledge and a forklift license. A collaborative, proactive approach and willingness to work weekends/holidays are valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent, PC literate.
• Experience in crating/capital equipment handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings/blueprints to crate tools/products per guidelines.

• Assist customers with shipment issues and complaints.
• Maintain shipment paperwork and digital records.
• Support planners and production to fulfill orders on time.
• Coordinate with CM for GR and with traffic/3rd-party warehouse for relabeling shipments.
• Pack materials and prepare for shipment.
• Identify products during shipping and ensure deliveries match work orders.
• Collaborate with departments to locate missing packages and resolve issues.
• Apply problem-solving techniques for continuous improvement of processes.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment per maintenance plans.
• Support operations during weekends and public holidays.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as directed by supervisor.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Read, learn, understand, and interpret drawing/blueprints, work instructions, and other written or verbal instructions to complete the crating of tools/products or components according to established guidelines and quality standards.
• Manage inventory following established guidelines and procedures including labeling and locating parts, picking parts from appropriate locations specified, and recording and communicating inventory levels.
• Help customers resolve shipment issues and complaints when they arise.
• Maintain shipment paperwork, records, and digital databases and perform additional administrative, clerical, or supervisory duties as requested.
• Support internal and other relevant departments (e.g. Planners and productions) to ensure all orders/shipments are fulfilled on time.
• The need to coordinate with CM to perform GR, coordinate with traffic and third-party warehouse to re-label shipment, and release to forwarders for shipment arrangement.
• Fulfill orders by packaging necessary materials and preparing them for shipment.
• Identifying and locating the right products during the shipping process.
• Recording inventory status, and making sure deliveries properly match work orders.
• Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged products.
• Practice problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for continuous improvement of products and processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, and workplace safety, and maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and established procedures.
• Require supporting operations during weekends and public holidays.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or its equivalent PC literate.
• Preferably with experience in crating/capital equipment handling.
• A team player with the ability to multitask and organize work systematically.
• Process Improvement mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing and demanding environment.
• Hardworking, self-driven, willing to learn, and able to take initiative.
• Knowledge of SAP and having a forklift license will be an added advantage.
• Requires a minimum of 4 - 6 years of related experience.
