About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join the team at KANTO KAGAKU (S) PTE LTD in the Pioneer West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our manufacturing operations. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards whilst maintaining optimal productivity levels. This role is essential to our day-to-day operations and directly contributes to the success of our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols

• Performing routine maintenance tasks and equipment checks to ensure optimal functionality and minimise downtime

• Quality checking products during and after production to ensure they meet required specifications and standards

• Recording production data, shift reports, and other relevant documentation accurately and timely

• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to maintain consistency and safety standards

• Identifying and reporting equipment issues or defects to supervisors promptly for corrective action

• Collaborating with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to housekeeping and safety standards

• Assisting with material handling, loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products as required

• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting operational enhancements

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Production Operator, manufacturing operator, or similar role in a production environment

• Strong understanding of production machinery operation and basic troubleshooting
