Job summary

METALL-TREAT INDUSTRIES PTE LTD is seeking a Production Operator for our West Region facility in Singapore. This full-time role focuses on performing production processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations to meet daily schedules.

The ideal candidate may have prior production experience or be eager to learn. Reading and writing in English is essential, and suitability includes adaptability to a hot, humid industrial environment with strict safety

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and spray painting processes.
• Carry out routine checks and maintenance on equipment/plant to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules to meet targets.
• Record production data including outputs, downtime, and incidents.
• Assist with loading/unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety rules.
• Attend training sessions to enhance process knowledge.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join our team at METALL-TREAT INDUSTRIES PTE LTD. This is a full-time position based in the West Region, where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for performing production processes, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our work facilities. This role is essential to maintaining our production schedules and delivering high-quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing:

• Performing chemical and spray painting processes.
• Performing routine checks and maintenance on equipment/water treatment plant/chemical store to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
• Following work instructions and production schedules to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Recording production data, including output quantities, downtime, and any incidents or anomalies.
• Assisting with component handling, loading and unloading of raw materials and finished goods.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participating in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of production processes.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Production Operator or in a similar process work role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience is not essential. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills. Training and guidance will be provided.
• We welcome candidates with secondary school education or equivalent. Able to read and write in English. More importantly, we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working in a hot and humid industrial environment.

• Able to work in an environment where chemicals are present and follow all required safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials.
• Reliability and consistent attendance.
• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing production requirements.
