Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an Equipment Engineer (Shift) to oversee in-line equipment performance in an East region fab. You will monitor SPC data, address abnormalities, and ensure tool availability aligns with production schedules.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 2 years’ semiconductor experience. Candidates should have strong analytical and communication skills, and be willing to work shifts to support continuous production.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electronic/Electrical/Chemical/Materials/Mechanical/Physics/Automation/Aerospace).
• Minimum 2 years of semiconductor industry experience in a foundry.
• Must be willing to commit to shift work.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day monitoring and ownership to address SPC/defect/equipment abnormalities and lot handling.
• Maintain equipment capability to meet production demand and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Production and Process Engineers to balance tool availability and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and drive production quality improvements.
• Evaluate new equipment/materials and retrofits for efficiency and quality gains.

Responsibilities

• Day to Day monitoring and ownership to timely address in-line SPC/defect/Equipment abnormality and lot handling
• Maintain Equipment capability for production and meet production demand
• Engage with Production line and Process Engineers to balance tool availability for production, troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance
• Engage in Equipment troubleshooting and production quality improvement.
• Evaluation of new equipment/materials and retrofits of Equipment for better efficiency / production quality

Requirements:

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in engineering in Electronic Engineering , Electrical Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering ,Physics, Automation, Aerospace Engineering
• At least 2 years with relevant working experience in semiconductor industry foundry
• Able to think critically with strong analytical skills
• Possess good communication skills and time management skills
• Prior leadership or competition experience in school activities will be an advantage
• Must be willing to commit shift work
