The Production Cell Lead at Cognex Singapore Inc. manages all activities within their cell in a distribution center, ensuring quality, safety and adherence to 6S and EHS standards. You will communicate production priorities and escalate issues to the area Supervisor or Manager.

You will coach and mentor team members, set daily objectives, and collaborate with Traffic, Compliance and Order Administration to keep priorities aligned and production flowing smoothly.

Qualificações

• Diploma or higher required.
• 5+ years in a Distribution Center environment with at least 1 year as a senior warehouse operator.
• Fluent English is required; Malay or Mandarin preferred.
• Able to train and share knowledge with the team.
• Able to work independently and guide the team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and follow complex instructions and escalate deviations.
• Decisive and strong resource planning ability.
• SAP experience and Windows Office proficiency preferred.

About the role

The Production Cell Lead is responsible for all activities and output for their scope of responsibility. They ensure compliance with quality standards and that all operations are maintained and performed safely and within a continuous improvement culture. The cell lead understands and communicates production priorities to all individuals within their production cell and escalates any issues that may impact production to the area Supervisor or Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Coaching and mentoring of individuals within the production cell

• Communicating goals and targets and setting daily priorities and objectives for the cell

• Initiative to identify issues and escalates to supervisor properly

• Delegates assignments to team in a dynamic work environment

• Ensure that all appropriate training has been completed for everyone prior to assigning tasks

• Identify daily production requirements and prioritize work for the members within the cell accordingly

• Collaborates with Traffic and Compliance and Order Administration to resolve issues and set appropriate priorities

• Adhere to company standards and regulatory on Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines

• Lead and maintain 6S compliance within the production and Shipping cell, including executing monthly area audits and follow up improvements

• Provide detailed feedback on tester yields and product performance to AOC support staff

About you

• Diploma or above degree

• 5+ years in a Distribution Center environment with at least 1 year as a senior warehouse operator

• Fluent English is required

• Malay or Mandarin speaker preferred

• Being a fast learner and willing to share and train others across the team

• Able to work independently and provide guidance to the team

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to understand and follow complex instructions and escalates any deviations from the defined process to the area Supervisor or Manager
