Job summary

Jointhire Singapore Pte Ltd is partnering with a globally recognized Japanese food manufacturer to recruit a seasoned Production Supervisor for the Woodlands, Singapore site. The role focuses on managing daily production activities, monitoring lines, and ensuring output targets while upholding strict food safety standards.

You will supervise staff, identify bottlenecks, implement lean improvements, and coordinate with maintenance for equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of production experience or relevant experience.
• Food manufacturing experience is required.
• Diploma academic qualifications are required.
• Willing to work overtime on weekends.
• Proactive, initiative and discipline; good time management and teamwork.
• Understand basic food safety compliance and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily production activities and assigned lines, ensuring efficiency and output targets.
• Check and monitor product quality, ensuring HACCP, GMP, ISO compliance.
• Supervise production staff, allocate tasks, and support training to build workforce capability.
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks; implement lean practices to boost productivity and reduce waste.
• Enforce workplace safety and hygiene protocols; report hazards promptly.
• Monitor production equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with maintenance team.
• Assist in monitoring raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Prepare daily production reports; communicate progress and escalate issues to Production Manager/Asst Manager.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager.

Job Description:

• Manage and monitor daily production activities and assigned lines, ensuring efficiency, adherence to schedules, and achievement of output targets


• Check and monitor product quality, ensuring compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, and ISO


• Supervise and guide production staff, allocate tasks, and support training initiatives to build workforce capability


• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, recommend improvements, and assist in implementing lean practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste


• Enforce workplace safety and hygiene protocols, report hazards promptly, and ensure a safe working environment


• Monitor and maintain production equipment in good working condition, coordinating preventive servicing and repairs with the maintenance team.


• Assist in monitoring raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstocking


• Prepare daily production reports, communicate progress, and elevate issues to the Production Manager / Asst Manager


• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of production working experience or relevant experience


• Having food manufacturing experience


• Possess a diploma academic qualifications


• Willing to work overtime on weekend (Saturday)


• Pro‑active, initiative and discipline


• Time management and able to work well with others


• Understand basic food safety compliance and able to follow SOP

Compensation:

• Work location: Woodlands, Singapore


• Working hours: Mon to Fri 8:00am to 5:30pm, Sat (overtime) 8:00am to 5:30pm


• Overtime pay are given


• Transport allowances ($180 per month) upon confirmation


• Entitled to AWS (equivalent to 1 months' basic salary)


• Variable bonus (subject to company and individual performance)


• Uniform will be provided
