PERSOL is seeking a proactive Production Planner in Singapore to manage production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, and project needs. You will collaborate across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Quality teams to ensure timely execution and accurate data entry in ERP systems.
The role requires a Diploma or higher, 1-2 years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, and a willingness to learn; training will be provided and daily work is Monday to Friday.
Location: Woodlands
Working day/hour: Monday - Friday (8am to 5pm)
Assist in preparing and maintaining production schedules in accordance with customer demand, manufacturing capacity, and project requirements.
Support planners in monitoring production orders, work order releases, and execution of progress.
Track manufacturing milestones and report schedule adherence to stakeholders.
Assist in monitoring backlog, demand loading, and shipment
Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and multi-level BOM structures within ERP systems.
Support Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation by ensuring timely system updates and planning adjustments.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of master data, planning parameters, and production records.
Maintain planning databases, reports, and documentation.
Monitor material shortages, production constraints, and planning exceptions.
Support root cause analysis of schedule disruptions and assist in coordinating corrective actions.
Track production progress and elevate risks that may impact delivery performance.
Support inventory monitoring and material availability reviews.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production planning reports.
Generate planning dashboards and performance metrics using Excel, SAP, and Power BI.
Support data analysis for manufacturing performance, schedule attainment, and delivery performance.
Maintain accurate records for management reporting.
Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure effective communication and execution.
Follow up on action items related to production schedules, shortages, and project milestones.
Support meetings and prepare planning-related updates for stakeholders.
Support process improvement initiatives within Production Planning.
Participate in planning system enhancements, automation projects, and data quality improvement activities.
Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices
Diploma or higher Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in production, manufacturing operations, or related fields.
