Job summary

LECIP (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on technician to support the Product Engineer in setup, integration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of in-vehicle systems and equipment. You will contribute to high-quality performance and timely service across transport and industrial products.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics experience, familiarity with programming languages for testing, and strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with C, C++, C#, or Python for testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience in electronic repair work.
• At least a Nitec certification in Electronics or Mechatronics, or relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Engineer in setting up, integrating, and testing in-vehicle systems for development.
• Document detailed test procedures, data observations and results for prototypes and production tests.
• Plan and assemble components for prototype tools and tests.
• Document setup and installation procedures to standardize processes.
• Perform vehicle equipment testing and setup following test procedures and work instructions.
• Assist in troubleshooting vehicle equipment issues to identify root causes.
• Carry out maintenance and overhaul work on in-vehicle equipment to ensure quality.
• Notify Team Leader of complex repair issues requiring major repairs or parts.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Complete detailed work orders for each vehicle and unit serviced.

Job Summary

Support the Product Engineer in setup, integration, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of in-vehicle systems and equipment to ensure high-quality performance and timely service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Product Engineer in setting up, integrating, and testing various in-vehicle systems to support product development
• Document detailed test procedures, data observations, and results to ensure accurate records for prototype and production testing
• Plan and conduct assembly of components for prototype tools and tests, acquiring proficiency in assembly tools and techniques
• Document setup and installation procedures to standardize processes and support team knowledge sharing
• Perform vehicle equipment testing and setup tasks following established test procedures, work instructions, and flow charts
• Assist in troubleshooting vehicle equipment issues to identify root causes and support timely resolution
• Carry out maintenance and overhaul work on in-vehicle equipment, ensuring workmanship quality and minimizing turnaround time for scheduled repairs and inspections
• Notify Team Leader of complex repair issues requiring major repairs or replacement parts, recommending appropriate actions
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and maintain orderliness in the work environment to ensure a safe workplace
• Complete detailed work orders for each vehicle and unit serviced to maintain accurate service records

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python to support testing and troubleshooting activities
