Job summary

ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD invites a diploma-holding engineer to assist in supporting engineering activities for product test/yield development, characterization, and qualification execution. You will generate test instructions for the lab and help with debugging rejects.

You will liaise with manufacturing sites and planners to ensure flawless execution of engineering activities; you will execute test programs and document results with timely reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Computer Engineering.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

To assist Engineer on supporting engineering activities for product test/yield development, product characterization, qualification execution. Provide first level of debug on rejects and support operational logistic.

THE PERSON:

The candidate should be motivated and have good communication skills. He/She prefers to have systematic mindset to meet the need to perform documentation tasks and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering

• Liaise with manufacturing sites and planners to ensure flawless execution of Engineering Activities
• Responsible for generating test instruction to engineering lab for execution.
• Execute evaluation for test program or product qualification activities.
• Provide basic and higher technical level of debug via root cause analysis in resolving equipment/product related issues.
• Document test results and generate results and debug report timely.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Basic knowledge on Electronics and Semiconductors.
• Understanding of semiconductor testing
• General understanding of manufacturing/operations
• Computer knowledge (Proficiency in Microsoft Office) and skills in report generation.
• Knowledge of Data analytics (SQL, Python, PowerBI, Shell etc) will be an advantage
• Knowledge in AIML/ Automation (Python, NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn and etc) will be an advantage
• Flexible working in office hours, staggered or night shifts as required by business needs
