Job summary

Luxoft, a leading Murex services partner, seeks a capable production support analyst for the day-to-day operations in Singapore. The role emphasizes scripting in shell and Python, monitoring tasks, and coordinating with third-party vendors to maintain system stability.

You will work with Elastic Search for logging, understand CI/CD pipelines, and take ownership of high-severity incidents, driving RCA-based improvements and pre-emptive fixes for production resilience.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Linux.
• Provide production support for EOD/report/VAR EOD failures.
• Able to debug issues in SQL and shell scripts.
• Able to write Linux/Unix shell scripts and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills for BAU issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support and optimize service levels.
• Write scripts using shell/Python for monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and other support teams for a seamless support model.
• Experience with Elastic Search for logging and monitoring of systems/services.
• Understand CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes to assist in rolling out new versions per release procedures.
• Take ownership of high-severity issues and contribute to RCA and long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

• To track and be responsible for providing optimum service levels for day-to-day production support.
• Able to write scripts using shell/ Python, etc., for monitoring, system troubleshooting, and maintenance operations.
• To collaborate with third party vendor/other support teams to provide a seamless support model for the business.
• Experience working in Elastic Search for logging, monitor systems & services.
• Understanding the CI/CD pipeline, deployment process to assist in rolling out of new version of the application adhering to the best practices of the release management procedures.
• Able to take ownership of high-severity issues and follow through to closure, answerable to business users and provide strategic long term solutions and participate in RCA and provide pre-emptive solutions for production stability.

SKILLS

• Providing production support on the issues related to EOD failure, report failure, VAR EOD failures
• Able to debug issues in SQL, shell scripts
• Able to write Linux/Unix shell scripts, SQL
• Problem-solving skills to solve day-to-day BAU issues

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Murex application supporting VAR module
• Murex UAT environments setup and troubleshoot issues
• Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments
