Stripe is seeking a senior strategy and global operations leader in Singapore to partner with senior teams across Product, Engineering and GTM. You will shape cross-functional initiatives and drive growth in APAC while aligning resources with long-term strategic goals.

This role requires 7+ years in strategy/ops, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex products into clear business value. You will tackle high-impact programs and operate in a fast-paced environment.

About The Team

Stripe’s Global Product & Operations team is a small, high impact team. We help run the Global product organization, which is responsible for helping Stripe and our users expand globally. Our team works cross functionally within the Global Product and across most of Stripe’s teams. We develop the long-term strategic plan for Global, drive an operating model that allows the Global organization to operate at scale, and design and incubate high impact 0→1 initiatives. Whatever it is, we work on what will move the needle most for Stripe.

What you’ll do

Role

In this role, you will work cross-functionally within our group and across Stripe’s technical and user-facing teams to solve problems that benefit our users. Specifically:

• Work on cross-cutting company strategy projects and collaborate with teams to implement changes;
• Partner directly with senior leaders and cross functional teams to accelerate progress, solve hard scaling initiatives, and incubate new programs;
• Drive analysis and research to help inform our overall strategy and make the right growth decisions for global products, including local payment methods; ^
• Help shape the product roadmap for the Stripe’s APAC business through robust gathering of competitive intelligence, user insights, and data analysis;
• Advise Product, Engineering, GTM & cross-functional leadership teams on where resources should be deployed to maximize long-term strategic value;
• Partner with Finance to drive planning processes, including investment decisions, strategy updates, operational plans, and OKRs; and
• Maintain a pulse on the financial health of the APAC business, highlighting key metrics and trends and developing action plans to drive improvements.

Who you are

Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a strategy, business operations, or highly analytical role at a technology company, or similar experience in management consulting.
• Ability to add structure and clarity to ambiguous, open-ended problems, and distill complex findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations.
• Ability to understand complex, technical products and articulate their value to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple functional stakeholders.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, demonstrated by a track record of driving alignment and complex decisions with senior cross-functional leaders.
• Experience working directly with Product and Engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in influence-without-authority environments and contexts with a high degree of ambiguity.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders, including users.
• A “can do” attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is SGD 148,000 - SGD 222,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
