Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Product Manager for our video moderation system to iteratively optimize a system processing hundreds of millions of videos daily. You will collaborate with R&D, algorithm teams, policy, and global operations to improve models, moderation strategies, and platform safety.

You will work with international partners across time zones and contribute to building a safer platform for billions of users.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in product management for consumer-facing mobile or web platforms.
Ability to design product solutions based on evidence and deliver value-adding products or process changes.
Strong project management and communication skills; ability to influence and unite cross-functional teams.
Identify, analyze and improve existing business/product processes to optimize performance and user experience.
Strong data analysis skills for product design and knowledge of research methods for evaluating designs.

Responsibilities

Drive complex projects independently; define the safety product roadmap and success metrics.
Build scalable features and auto-moderation strategies for a safe user experience.
Apply data analysis, ML, or NLP to identify risky content and devise moderation strategies.
Collaborate with policy teams and cross-functional partners to prioritize and drive initiatives.
Develop workflows for cross-team collaboration and manage large-scale product improvements for community safety.
