CTBC Bank Co., Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced banker to originate, structure and develop syndicated loan mandates for local and regional clients.

You will prepare term sheets and pitchbooks, conduct market analysis, and manage deals across Southeast Asia, Australia and India, coordinating with multiple business lines to deliver on the bank’s strategy within regulatory and risk frameworks.

Competenze

• Experience originating syndicated loans in Southeast Asia.
• Strong credit analysis, documentation, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of regional loan syndication markets (Singapore, AUS, India, etc.).

JOB PURPOSE:

To originate, structure and develop both existing and new leads (local and regional businesses) for loan syndication and distribution. (These will include club deals, secondary loan sales and cross-sell of capital market products i.e. treasury products, bonds e.tc. in line with the bank’s strategy and within the regulatory and risk framework.

To co-work with and complement the bank’s various Business Lines (local & head office).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• 1.Prepare term sheet, pitchbook and structure credit facilities to pitch for syndicated loan mandates.
• 2.Conduct market analysis to support underwriting, distribution and secondary sell-down off syndicated loans.
• 3.Handle financial institutions, government-linked companies and large corporates withinSoutheast Asia, Australia and India.
• 4.Experience in the entire credit process from deal origination up to conclusion (including documentation).
• 5.Manage and execute loan syndication transactions including origination/negotiations, sell-downs, documentation and financial closing.
• 6.Establish good relationship with clients, banks, insurance companies and non-bank financial institutions.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• 1.Relevant experience in originating syndicated loans within Southeast Asia.
• 2.Sound credit analysis skills, loan documentation and negotiation skills.
• 3.Deep Market knowledge and prior experience in both Singapore and regional loan syndication markets (i.e. Australia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Vietnam e.t.c.) is preferred.
• 4.Ability to operate independently and cooperate with other local or overseas team members.
