Job summary

Eaton is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development, promotion, and pricing of low-voltage busbar products in PDSS APAC. You’ll own the product and collaborate with sales and business development to drive new development and market success.

You will manage planning, training, tools, quotations, and customer relationships, while supporting cost, pricing, and promotional activities across regions. English fluency required; Chinese speakers preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of related experience in engineering, systems, or similar roles.
• Familiar with power distribution products; busbar experience is a plus.
• Familiar with GB and IEC standards and regional market access rules.
• Strong independent problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills and a cheerful, customer-oriented approach.
• Self-starter with initiative and positive attitude.
• Creative thinking; fluent English; Chinese speakers preferred.
• Experience in large enterprises and busbar industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize new product development with a clear strategy; drive robust features, time to market and cost effectiveness.
• Promote IEC projects, including training, tools, configuration, quotation and technical support.
• Support key customer projects and maintain relationships.
• Develop selling tools and promotional events with the cooperation team.
• Prepare product operation & installation manuals, catalogues, brochures and competitive comparisons; collect customer feedback.
• Prepare training documentation/workshops; deploy common reporting tools.
• Assist costing with robust quotation tools.
• Support pricing strategy/positioning across regions and segments; drive product profitability.
• Focus on customers – help resolve product performance issues.
• Coordinate with project teams/plants to ensure timely delivery with quality.

The product manager is taking charge of product management, promotion, and pricing. Here is the specific

responsibility for the development of low-voltage busbar products in PDSS APAC. The individual will own

the product. Working with front office (sales, BD) to drive new product development and promotion.

What you’ll do:

• Taking charge of Planning, organizing of new product development with following product strategy plan. Drive the new product robust features, time to market, as well as cost effectiveness.
• Be responsible for IEC project promotion, including training, tools preparation, configuration, quotation, and technical support.
• Support the key customer project and its relationships.
• Supporting team to develop selling tools, promotional events, like conferences, seminar with cooperation team.
• Be responsible for product operation & installation manuals, catalogue, Brochure, competitive comparison and taking part of customer voice collection.
• Support to prepare the product training documentations/workshop; Develop/Deploy common reporting tools.
• Support costing team with robust quotation tools.
• Supporting the pricing strategy/positioning of products in different regions / segments. Drive product profitability. Assist sales to opportunity negotiation.
• Customer focus – supporting product performance issues management.
• Working with project team/plant to ensure project execution and deliver on time with quality insurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• At least 10 years’ related experience in engineering or system or similar role within the industry.
• Familiar with power distribution products, especially the application of busbar products. Busbar industry experience is a plus, not a must
• Familiar with GB, IEC standard, as well as regional market access rules
• Strong Independent problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills and an outgoing, cheerful personality.
• Proficient demonstration skills, customer oriented
• Self-starter, strong initiative, and positive attitude
• Creative Thinking and fluent English skills, Chinese speakers preferred.
• Working experience in large enterprises and busbar industry experience are preferred.
