Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Manager of Product Management to own the product strategy for Hitachi iQ, our data-and-AI portfolio. This high-visibility role reports into product leadership and drives the end-to-end roadmap for AI infrastructure, storage, and data-platform platforms, spanning architecture decisions to GTM readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, or AI/ML platforms.
• Direct experience with AI infrastructure concepts — GPU/accelerator platforms, inferencing, RAG architectures, model orchestration.
• Working knowledge of distributed file systems and enterprise storage architecture (block, file, object).
• Track record translating technical roadmap decisions into competitive positioning and field-ready narrative.
• Experience leading a product management team with cross-functional influence across engineering, marketing, and sales/partner orgs.
• Executive presence representing the roadmap in high-visibility settings — customer briefings and partner councils.
• Bachelor's in a technical field; MBA a plus.
• Experience with NVIDIA or hyperscaler-adjacent ecosystem certification/partnership programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and business case for Hitachi iQ (AI infrastructure and AI Factory platform).
• Drive NVIDIA and broader ecosystem certification strategy to stay competitively positioned.
• Build and defend competitive positioning translating technical differentiation into field-ready messaging.
• Define AI use cases the platform must support and ensure underlying storage/infrastructure supports them.
• Act as executive spokesperson for the portfolio in partner councils and customer briefings.
• Develop pricing, packaging, and lifecycle decisions across the portfolio.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers across the portfolio.
• Partner with product marketing to shape launch strategy and analyst/press narratives.
