Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Manager of Product Management to own the Hitachi iQ AI infrastructure portfolio. You will drive strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market readiness across engineering, sales, and partner teams in a high-visibility role.

You will translate enterprise AI and data trends into a coherent product line, lead a PM team, and collaborate with marketing to shape launches and analyst narratives. This role is based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, or AI/ML platforms.
• Experience translating complex AI concepts into field-ready messaging for partners and customers.
• Proven ability to lead a multi-product portfolio and a PM team.

The Role

Hitachi Vantara is looking for a Manager of Product Management to own the product strategy for our data-and-AI portfolio: Hitachi iQ (our AI infrastructure and AI Factory hardware/software platform. This is a high-visibility role reporting into product leadership, responsible for translating enterprise AI and unstructured-data trends into a coherent, sellable, and defensible product line.

You’ll own the roadmap end to end — from architecture and build decisions through GTM readiness, competitive positioning, and partner/field enablement — for a portfolio that sits at the center of Hitachi Vantara's AI strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally across engineering, cross Hitachi BUs, sales, and partner teams under our "One Hitachi" model, and you’ll be a primary voice in executive and partner-facing forums articulating where the AI infrastructure and data-foundation story is headed.

What you'll be doing

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and business case for Hitachi iQ (AI infrastructure and AI Factory platform)
• Drive NVIDIA and broader ecosystem certification strategy (e.g., NCS, AIDP, STX, CMX-class programs) to keep Hitachi iQ competitively positioned against AI infrastructure alternatives
• Build and defend competitive positioning against AI infrastructure, storage, and data-platform competitors, translating technical differentiation into field- and partner-ready messaging
• Define and prioritize AI use cases (RAG, fine-tuning, inferencing, agentic workflows) that the platform must support, and work with engineering to ensure the underlying storage and infrastructure layers are built to support them
• Act as executive spokesperson for the portfolio in partner councils, technical advisory forums, customer briefings, and internal strategy reviews
• Build the business case for pricing, packaging, and lifecycle decisions across the portfolio, including margin and cost-structure tradeoffs
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers covering distinct areas of the portfolio setting a consistent strategic bar across the team
• Partner with product marketing to shape launch strategy, sales plays, and analyst/press narrative for major releases

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of product management experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, or AI/ML platforms, with demonstrated ownership of a multi-product portfolio
• Direct experience with AI infrastructure concepts — GPU/accelerator platforms, inferencing, RAG architectures, model orchestration — and the storage/data layer that supports them
• Working knowledge of distributed file systems and enterprise storage architecture (block, file, object)
• Track record of translating technical roadmap decisions into competitive positioning and field-ready narrative for a technical partner and customer audience
• Experience building and leading a product management team, with strong cross-functional influence across engineering, marketing, and sales/partner organizations
• Executive presence and comfort representing the roadmap in high-visibility, live settings — customer briefings, partner advisory councils, technical panels
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience; MBA a plus
• Experience with NVIDIA or hyperscaler-adjacent ecosystem certification/partnership programs a plus
