Job summary

LONGXIANG CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchaser to support construction projects in Singapore. You will maintain approved vendor lists, issue POs, track orders, resolve delivery issues, and ensure records and compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate has a certificate in supply chain or related field, 1-2 years of purchasing experience in construction, fresh graduates welcome, and strong negotiation and communication skills to build vendor networks.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant purchasing experience in construction industry preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an approved vendor list and develop supplier relationships.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on project or site requisitions.
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery to site.
• Resolve delivery issues, shortages, and damaged goods in coordination with site and vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure all procured items comply with company standards and project specifications.
• Enforce purchasing policies and procedures in compliance with company and legal requirements.
