Job summary

NTS Singapore is seeking an experienced Operational Buyer to manage procurement activities, supplier relations, purchase orders, expediting and supplier performance to support production. You will collaborate with Planning, Customer Support and Logistics to align demand, inventory and timely material deliveries, while maintaining accurate MRP/ERP data and procurement compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
ERP systems experience (Navision, SAP, etc.).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Independent and proactive with team collaboration.
Experience purchasing technical commodities like machining items/sheet metal parts is a plus.
Manufacturing & planning background preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and monitor supplier performance.
Place purchase orders with approved suppliers and expedite critical materials.
Develop and maintain supplier, purchasing, inventory, and planning reports, including OTD, Push Outs, and Pull Ins.
Ensure procurement activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop demand and inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.
Collaborate with Planning, Customer Support, and Logistics to align demand, inventory, and timely material deliveries.
Maintain accurate material, supplier, and planning data in MRP/ERP systems and ensure adequate stock for production needs.
