Job summary

NTS Components Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Procurement & Planning Specialist to manage supplier relationships, place orders with approved suppliers, and develop vendor performance reports. You will verify compliance with quality and regulatory standards while implementing demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in SCM or related fields, ERP experience (Navision, SAP), and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM, Business Administration, or related field.
• ERP experience with Navision, SAP, etc.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
• Experience purchasing technical commodities like machining items or sheet metal parts is a plus.
• Background in Manufacturing & Planning.

Responsibilities

• Managing supplier relationships, resolving issues, and monitoring supplier performance.
• Placing orders with approved suppliers based on requisitions and expediting critical materials.
• Developing reports for vendor performance, purchase volumes, and on-time delivery.
• Verifying that procurement activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Developing and implementing demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
• Collaborating with Planning & Customer Support to adjust planning based on demand fluctuations.
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock to meet production needs.
• Coordinating with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintaining data in MRP/ERP systems (materials, suppliers, planning).
• Developing reports on inventory levels, stockouts, and planning metrics (OTD, Push Outs & Pull Ins).
