Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a candidate to assist the purchasing team in managing inventory and sourcing materials. You will issue Purchase Orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely deliveries. Ideal candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Business or Supply Chain, with 1-2 years of purchasing experience. Knowledge of inventory management and SAP/MRP systems is preferred. The role offers a competitive salary and a standard work week from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
• Knowledge of POs and inventory management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and enter data into the MRP/SAP system.
• Follow up with vendors to expedite delivery and update ETA.
• Raise and coordinate purchase of materials, arrange shipments, and process cash requests.
• Liaise with vendors and build strong supplier relationships.
• Work closely with engineers and store planners to meet production needs.
• Prioritize fixture orders while also handling other P/Os.
• Source alternative components to prevent production delays.
