Job summary

INTVER GLOBAL CONSULTING is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Singapore to lead sourcing strategies across domestic and international suppliers. You will evaluate supplier capabilities, manage RFQ/RFP processes, and negotiate favorable terms while mitigating supply risks.

The role requires 3-5 years in sourcing and strong stakeholder management, with proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and global units is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and establish clear goals and accountabilities.
• Ability to interpret technical documents, including schematics, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to communicate requirements, issues, and escalations effectively to suppliers, stakeholders, colleagues, and senior management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commodity strategies, including domestic and international sourcing and supplier selection.
• Identify and assess suppliers based on their capabilities, strengths, and ability to meet product requirements.
• Manage RFQ and RFP processes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Analyze supplier quotations and negotiate competitive pricing with selected suppliers.
• Review organizational spending, supply risks, and operational requirements to support commodity strategy development.
• Negotiate and execute contracts, supplier agreements, and rebate arrangements.
• Mitigate supply disruptions and price increases while building sustainable, mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement improvement plans to reduce costs and cycle times while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Conduct market intelligence and research to identify sourcing opportunities in cost-effective regions.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Coordinate with local, regional, and global business units to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Perform other procurement-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
