Job summary

EM Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Singapore to provide guidance on procurement policies, ensure SOP compliance, and prepare tender documents. You will coordinate requirements across business units and conduct bids reviews, driving cost savings and process improvements.

The role involves managing contracts, letters of acceptance, purchase orders, and maintaining vendor portals, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years sourcing in procurement/contracting, or Diploma with 9+ years sourcing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills with business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on procurement policy, procedures, and processes to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with EM Group Procurement Policy and SOPs for all procurement-related activities.
• Prepare and publish quotation/tender documents in accordance with requirements.
• Coordinate procurement requirements with stakeholders across Business Units.
• Conduct review and evaluation of quotations/tenders.
• Prepare summary of bids, approval papers, and Letters of Acceptance.
• Provide support in periodic reporting.
• Assist with internal process improvement through procurement strategies and cost savings.
• Manage contracts, including issuance of Letters of Acceptance and/or Purchase Orders, and oversee contract renewals.
• Manage E-Portal system for procurement activities.
• Conduct vendor screening and analytical studies as required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
