Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. is partnering with an established manufacturing organization in Western Singapore to hire a Process Safety Engineer. This role champions plant safety integrity, leads process hazard evaluations, and ensures strict compliance with PSM and MHI frameworks.

You will oversee process safety management systems, conduct PHA studies (HAZOP/LOPA/What-If/SIL), maintain the MOM MHI Safety Case, perform risk assessments, and drive safety investigations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in process safety management and conducting PHA studies (HAZOP, LOPA, What-If, SIL).
• Familiarity with Major Hazard Installation (MHI) regulations and MOM regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and cross-functional facilitation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee process safety management systems and identify hazards; implement risk-reduction measures across operating units and capital projects.
• Lead or participate in Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) including HAZOP, LOPA, What-If, and SIL classification/verification studies.
• Maintain and update the site Safety Case aligned with MOM MHI regulations; perform consequence modeling and risk assessments; evaluate MOC reviews for process safety impacts.
• Lead or support process safety incident investigations using RCA; track leading and lagging indicators; conduct safety audits; collaborate with Production, Engineering, and HSE teams.
