Job summary

APAX SOLUTIONS PTE LTD is seeking a diligent engineer to plan, coordinate, and manage site activities across design, construction, testing and commissioning stages.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, with preference for construction or semiconductor experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office. Mandarin is a plus, and independent as well as team collaboration are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in construction or semiconductor industry preferred; entry-level considered.
• QA/QC background is an advantage.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and related engineering software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in oral and written English; Mandarin may be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project documents for submission (e.g. technical submittals, MS/SWP, O&M Manuals and incident reports).
• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

• Coordinate and liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project milestones and schedule.

• Manage, monitor and coordinate project activities during design, site execution, testing and commissioning phases.

• Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning.

• Ensure compliance with the site's safety management system.

• Follow up and report on the project progress.

• Prepare project documents for submission, e.g. technical submittals, MS/SWP, Operation & Maintenance Manuals and incident reports.

• All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.

Requirement:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

• Experience in construction or semiconductor industry is preferred. Entry-level candidates as Assistant Engineer is also welcomed.

• QA/QC background will be an advantage.

• Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and related engineering software.

• Strong communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in oral and written in English. Mandarin speaking will be an advantage.
