Job summary

F.A.S.T. ELECTROMECH PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams, focusing on electrical busduct systems.

You will collaborate with engineers to design, install, test and commission systems on site. The role requires a engineering degree, willingness to travel with company-provided transport and accommodation, and the ability to read Mandarin and English documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken Mandarin may be required for regional clients.
• Must read and respond to internal documents in Mandarin & English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main technical contact among clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and workers to design, install, test and commission busduct systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and plan maintenance or repairs.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting as needed.
• Prepare work plans, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
• Maintain project records including daily reports and RFIs.
• Attend workshops and training sessions to expand knowledge.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical point of contact between clients, contractors, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborating with other engineers and workers to design, install, testing and commissioning electrical busduct systems.
• Performing regular inspections and scheduling maintenance or repairs.
• Performing simple on-site troubleshooting
• Implement work plan, risk assessment and safe work place procedures.
• Maintain accurate project records, such as daily progress reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and technical documentation.
• Participating in various learning experiences, which may include attending workshops and training sessions.

Project Engineer Requirements:

• A diploma/degree in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Willing to travel (company provide transport & accommodation)
• Proficiency in spoken Mandarin may required to support and communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders based in regional markets.
• Required to read and respond to internal operational documents and daily support tickets written in Mandarin & English.
