Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a skilled precision engineer to interpret mechanical drawings, plan fabrication workflows, and generate process route cards for production.

You will oversee machining and sheet metal fabrication, analyze yields and throughput, and lead cross-functional investigations to implement corrective actions and improve efficiency while maintaining strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Precision Machining or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a precision engineering environment.
• Familiarity with milling, turning, grinding, sheet metal, welding, and surface treatment.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, MasterCAM, or HyperMill.

Responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical drawings to plan fabrication workflows and generate Process Route Cards / Job Travellers.
• Oversee and optimize machining and metal fabrication processes to manufacture complex precision parts.
• Analyze process yields, production rates, and efficiency to propose improvements and cost-reduction strategies.
• Lead cross-functional activities to investigate manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in NPI, manufacturing reviews, production transitions, and standard work updates.
• Ensure all process enhancements uphold quality standards while increasing throughput.
