Recruit Express Services Pte Ltd represents an established cable manufacturer seeking a hands-on Process Engineer for Wire & Cable Extrusion in Senoko. You will support and improve production processes, troubleshoot shop-floor issues and lead continuous improvement.

You'll gain exposure to the full process—from wire drawing and stranding to extrusion and testing—and will own process parameters, line setups and work instructions to drive throughput and yield.

Formación

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials / Polymer or Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 2 years of process engineering experience, preferably in wire and cable manufacturing.
• Knowledge of extrusion (PVC, XLPE, LSZH; screw, die and crosshead setup) is a strong plus.
• Familiar with cable testing and quality tools.
• Practical problem-solver and team player with good communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own and optimise cable manufacturing processes (wire drawing, stranding, insulation and sheathing extrusion) to improve throughput, quality and yield.
• Set and maintain process parameters, line setups and work instructions (temperature profiles, line speeds, tooling).
• Lead root cause analysis on process and quality issues (eccentricity, spark faults, surface defects, diameter variation) and put corrective actions in place.
• Support new product development, line trials and qualification testing to IEC / BS / SS cable standards.
• Drive improvement projects in lean manufacturing, scrap reduction, digitalisation and automation.

Process Engineer – Wire & Cable Extrusion | Senoko | $3,200 – $4,000+

• Location: Senoko Avenue (morning company transport from Admiralty MRT; public buses within walking distance)

• Employment type: Permanent, full-time

• Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm, plus Saturday half-days (at least alternate Saturdays) for production support

• Weekend allowance: $9/hour on Saturdays, $12/hour on Sundays, on top of monthly salary

• Salary: $3,200 – $4,000 per month (higher for experienced candidates), plus yearly performance bonus

About the role
