Job summary

The Japan Research Institute, Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks a Private Wealth Assistant Relationship Manager to support client onboarding and lifecycle service for high-net-worth clients in Singapore.

You will handle account setup/maintenance, respond to client queries, and collaborate with investment, product and operations teams to deliver seamless service while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Law or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in banking, wealth management or financial services.
• Good understanding of financial products and market dynamics.
• Familiar with regulatory standards and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages advantageous.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CACS 1, 2) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist front office and ARMs with transactional activity, onboarding and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to client queries and coordinate follow-ups.
• Support onboarding pipeline prioritisation and information sharing.
• Identify process efficiency opportunities and assist in change initiatives.
• Adhere to controls for ARMs’ processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain updated client records in CRM and collaborate with teams to deliver service.
