Job summary

Dyson Institute is recruiting a senior engineer to establish and lead Dyson's wireless power transfer capability. You will own end-to-end system architecture, drive coil and resonant-network design, and oversee TX/RX power electronics, control, EMC, and product integration.

You will work across Dyson teams and partners to deliver robust, scalable solutions. The role requires hands-on analysis, simulation, laboratory work and decisive technical judgement across multiple Dyson product categories.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Extensive industrial experience in wireless power transfer, wireless charging or related power-electronics fields.
• Proven ownership of TX/RX hardware architecture from concept to production.
• Strong experimental and simulation skills in electromagnetics, circuits and lab measurement.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end wireless power architecture for TX/RX systems from input to load.
• Lead power-electronics decisions for inverter, transmitter stages and control.
• Define verification methods for efficiency, EMI, thermal, FOD and safety.
• Collaborate with product, compliance, manufacturing and external partners to realise robust, scalable architectures.
