Job summary

Dyson is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager for Power Systems & Drives to lead development of next-generation motor drive hardware, heater drive hardware, APFC power systems, and advanced power electronics.

You will build and guide a high-performing engineering team, set technical direction, and partner with product development, firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams to shape the future power architecture of Dyson products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics/Power Electronics or related field.
• 12+ years in power electronics product development.
• Experience leading engineering teams on hardware development programs.
• Deep knowledge of motor drive systems and power conversion technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a world-class Power Systems & Drives engineering team.
• Drive technology and product strategy for power systems platforms.
• Deliver complex engineering programs on time, within budget and quality targets.
• Provide technical leadership on power electronics architecture and design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align roadmaps and execution.
