Job summary

Citadel Search PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to oversee and manage structural design works across a large infrastructure project, reviewing design packages and coordinating with consultants and authorities while providing technical leadership on-site.

You will review shop drawings, design temporary works, and address design-related challenges with STAAD and AutoCAD or MicroStation. Minimum 3 years' experience and a Civil Engineering degree required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in civil and structural works.
• Experience in infrastructure projects and LTA/underground roadway projects is advantageous.
• Experience in design management and coordination with consultants; consultancy background beneficial.
• Proficient in structural design and analysis software including STAAD and AutoCAD or Microstation.
• Knowledge of local authorities’ requirements and submission processes.
• Open to working 5.5D (Mon – Fri, 8am – 6pm; Sat, 8am – 12pm).

Responsibilities

• Review design packages and prepare/approve shop drawings for RC structural works and temporary works, including steel structures, struts and walers.
• Design temporary works such as scaffolding, falsework, and formwork in relation to structural design requirements.
• Coordinate structural design works with civil consultants, accredited checkers, architectural/SWC consultants, the construction team, and authorities where required.
• Lead or assist the project department in resolving design-related matters.
• Manage and resolve issues relating to production, quality, design and engineering, and project scheduling.
• Develop shop drawings including structural rebar detailing.
• Follow up as-built drawing and TOP/CSC.
