Job summary

NetEase Games in Singapore seeks an experienced Action Designer to create 3D character actions across multiple styles and ensure high-quality animation aligned with game feel and combat actions.

You will review assets from outsourcing partners, define action style with the Lead Artist, and coordinate across the production pipeline, leveraging your deep understanding of motion principles and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in animation design; understanding cinematography and camera techniques for animation.
• Strong grasp of body mechanics and movement rhythm for humanoid and non-humanoid characters.
• Rich imagination with excellent action design capabilities; able to create smooth and dynamic action performances.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Rich imagination with excellent action design capabilities, able to create smooth and dynamic action performances;
• Strong teamwork awareness and good communication/collaboration skills;
• Familiarity with action games, with deep understanding of impact feel (game feel) in combat actions;
• 8+ years of professional experience in action design for large-scale games.
