Qualifications

• MSc/ME in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience with 3D CAD software and mechanical design.
• Basic experience with electrical circuit measurements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Eager to learn, self-motivated and a strong team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer in developing and testing life science instrumentation.
• Contribute to development, troubleshooting and testing of products and services.
• Translate CAD concepts into functional prototypes with high precision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners/suppliers.
• Assist in developing mechanical chassis, precision mechanisms and enclosures.
• Design simple mechanical fixtures and assembly jigs.
• Develop a common test platform to evaluate reliability and performance.
• Generate reports and present findings to R&D and design teams.
• Develop test jigs and perform tests to prove the design.
