Job summary

GlobalFoundries Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Principal HR Business Partner to align HR strategy with manufacturing goals. You will partner with business leaders, drive talent management, and champion organizational change while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

You will coach managers across recruitment, performance, and employee relations, building engagement and ensuring compliant HR practices in a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience in manufacturing or electronics.
• Strong knowledge of labour law and HR processes.
• Excellent communication in a multi-cultural environment.

Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and strategic Principal HR Business Partner to join our team. This role partners closely with the business leaders to deliver timely & quality services and solutions to meet business objectives. You need to jointly resolve people issues with partners, upholding clear line of communication, integrity, confidentiality, impartiality and professionalism at all times. This role acts as a catalyst and proactively manages organizational effectiveness and change.

Your Job

Strategic Business Partnership: Listen, understand & exceed expectations of our partners to the extent possible. Deliver timely & quality services and solutions to meet business objectives. Being a catalyst and proactively manage organizational effectiveness and change. Drive and align HR policies, systems, structures and work processes to the organization’s Strategic Business Thrusts and goals. Partner and coach line managers in key HR processes (recruitment and selection, performance management, talent management) and continuously improve HR practices/processes. Build and foster a culture of employee engagement to reinforce the organization’s business strategies and culture for continuous growth and improvement. Actively involves in strategic human resources planning with line managers to meet challenging business and operational requirements. Be the main point of contact for manufacturing employee relations (ER) matters and ensure fair, consistent and timely resolution of ER cases while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Analyze manpower reports for strategic workforce planning. Partner with BU Head of Departments to organize internal All Hands communication and employee engagement sessions. Organize and participate in employee team bonding activities. Manage the formulation and implementation of HR projects and initiatives. Ensure compliance with all processes and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Any other adhoc duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or in related fields.
• Min 5 years’ of relevant experience, ideally in the semiconductor, manufacturing or electronics industry.
• Good knowledge of labour law / HR functions and processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact in a multi-cultural work environment.

• A team player with strong analytical skills, integrity and a good understanding of HR practices and labour laws.
• Possess leadership qualities with drive, initiative and enthusiasm.
