Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking an engineer to provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations. You will assist in daily targets, cycle time, throughput, and UPH capacity modeling, and support process discipline and quality improvements.

Job Description

Provide engineering support for semiconductor process operations Typically performs one or more of the following as directed and/or independently:

• Provides oversite and guidance of operational activities in ensuring productive use of manufacturing, process and equipment to meet the daily targets and operational goals
• Cycle time, Throughput, Prototype success and Fabout
• Shipment Plan Supports automated assembly tools to support manufacturing processes
• Supports engineering and industrial engineering for accurate and up-to-date assumptions, constraints and UPH are used in the tools capacity modeling
• Drives manufacturing efficiencies, quality and productivity improvements
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or higher
• Good understanding of manufacturing principles, equipment interaction, and process discipline within a semiconductor fab environment
• Familiar with standard engineering and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., data analysis, root cause analysis, SPC) to identify, analyze, and resolve routine manufacturing issues
• Can works effectively as part of manufacturing, operations, or module teams to support day-to-day production and continuous improvement initiatives
• Good communication skills to work with various stakeholders on the fab floor
