Job summary

GrabTaxi Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a senior technical leader to transform how we engineer with AI, raise the architectural bar for large-scale distributed systems, and create common platforms across the Grab ecosystem.

You will collaborate with CXI, engineers, product leaders, and data scientists to drive autonomous, coherent engineering practices. You will define reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails to empower teams to move faster while ensuring security, reliability,

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in software engineering and system design.
5+ years in principal engineer or architect roles.
Experience driving AI-enabled engineering transformation, including agentic workflows and guardrails.
Architecting and scaling large distributed systems with high reliability.
Building or leading shared platform capabilities across products and business lines.

Responsibilities

Transform the Software Development Lifecycle with AI and embedding AI across SDLC.
Architect systems for massive scale, reliability, performance, security, and cost.
Build common platforms across Grab ecosystems to enable cross-product leverage.
Enable autonomous teams while maintaining architectural coherence through reference architectures and guardrails.
