Job summary
Grab is seeking a senior architectural leader to transform how we engineer with AI and raise the bar for large-scale distributed systems across CXI. You will drive common platform primitives, guardrails, and autonomous teams with architectural coherence across the Grab ecosystem.
You will partner with senior engineers, product leaders, and data scientists to enable faster delivery while maintaining solid governance and reliability. This is a high-impact, on-site role based in Singapore.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of software engineering and system design experience.
- Experience leading AI-enabled engineering transformation including agentic workflows and guardrails.
- Architecting and scaling large distributed systems for high reliability and availability.
- Building or leading shared platform capabilities across products and teams.
- Leading cross-team architectural initiatives without direct reporting authority.
Responsibilities
- Transform the Software Development Lifecycle with AI and AI-native engineering practices.
- Provide architectural leadership for high-throughput distributed systems.
- Build common platforms across Grab ecosystem to share capabilities.
- Enable autonomous teams while maintaining architectural coherence.
